Default Congrats to all the new SSgt Selects

So with bad EPRs, lowered promotion rate, and not studying one damn bit because I felt all the odds were stacked against me....I made SSgt again. I actually knocked those test out of the park. 77 on the PDG and 80 on the SKT. Still waiting for my AFBCMR package to get back, but that should be any time now, but at least now they can't kick me out HYT anymore. I don't know when I sew on yet but hopefully they will just restore my original DOR in a few months.

Antes de que vengas a juzgarme por que escribo el inglés con errores te pregunto: Cuantos idiomas tu hablas?! Solo uno? Y vienes a juzgar mi inteligencia?! Por favor mirate en el espejo y veras en él reflejo la imagen clara de la estupidez...

Congrats on making it. None of the Airmen in my squadron made it. I had high hopes that there would be at least one.

One of my happiest days in the AF was when I got my line number for SSgt back in '93.

That was twenty years ago and I bet it seems like yesterday, huh?

Congratulations to all the new Staff Sergeants! Please enjoy the moment.

    Cheers!

I'm testing out of cycle this year. When will I find out if I made it?

It depends on when you test. From what I've seen, you'd usually gets your WAPS score (or selection) notification when the supplemental release the month following your testing month is. That may sound confusing . . so, say you test in August, you'll likely be on the October (MAYBE September) supplemental release if you made it.

Just make sure to check vMPF for your testing information/results. If you don't know how to find it, just shoot me a PM and I'll show you.

Days you get promoted don't happen very often, celebrate all of them. Congrats to the jeep SSgts.

Best promotion is to civilian. Now I am free to wink at the cute two-striper at the gate or call the Lt Col dude. I love it.

Don't forget to say aidos to those that didn't make it and are now getting out under HYT...
