We had a Group All-Call on Wednesday. I loathe going to these things. Other than the ridiculous SARC stupidity, it was business as usual. Be safe...blah, blah, blah....
But, over the last few years, the trend of this chanting shit is driving me crazy. When / Where did this crap come from?
I was watching a show with my wife a few days ago, in the show was a high school pep rally where some kid was yelling a cheer and the crowd was yelling a response. Now, we have that high school rah-rah shit at every commanders call (and ALS graduation) I go to. I find it embarrassing and I'm glad the general public doesn't see it. Be adults, clap and congratulate the winners. No need to yell shit like, "Defenders!" - "Lock and Load".
Dumb. I seriously curious where this came from. Did we put an 18 year A1C in charge for a day, he implemented it and leadership didn't catch on? WTF?
But, hey at least we didn't have to recite the creed......thank god.
"What's that smell? POL!" that always make me laugh.
I just quit going.....I have been waiting for a couple years now for someone to say something and no one ever does. Magically I have not died, raped someone, or recieved a DUI! How can this be? Its called common sense some have it, some don't.
"Now a-days UH-1FE it's called 'Un-common sense' in the 'PC' way'!! "
Chants, clapping to the AF Song hoe down, bowing your head PRETENDING to pray at EVERY official event, and reciting the AF Creed. It's all fucking gay.
