Default Last C-17A to be delivered to Charleston in Sep

Hard to believe it has been 20-yrs! The last C-17A will be delivered to Joint Base Charleston on 12 Sept. One bad ass airlifter....I think the total number is going to end up being 224 in inventory?

It's hard not to be cool when you have winglets!

Wow! Yes it is hard to believe it has been 20 years. How many years has it been since the last C-141 went to the bone yard?

Not sure? The last flight was back in May of 2006. Here is a good vid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lpbfvErfNs Might have taken it straight to boneyard? The Tube of Pain served a long hard time.

I remember seeing one at North Auxiliary Airfield SC in 2003 that was partially buried because it tried to land on the wrong strip of pavement....
