Are any of those old, yellow structures from the 1950's still standing or did they finally tear them down? I lived in base housing on 613 Fairchild in 1997 for a short time, then from 1998-2000 I lived on 402 Fairchild, because part of the end of the street near the BX was being torn down and new ones built. About 2006-2007, I think all the old structures were abandoned, but it didn't look like they were going to be torn down anytime soon.

I actually liked the old charm and character of what I lived in, but the place was falling apart so badly by the time I moved out and roaches were a horrible problem in my food pantry and bathrooms
