    Default 747 Crash

So a 747 crashes at Bagram about 12-14 hours ago and it still has yet to make mainstream news. It appears Jody Arias and the gay NBA player are more newsworthy.

I think there was a link to that on the main page unless that was another incident. Usually I try to read the headlines every morning before I start posting/lurking in here. I havent heard about Jody (No clue who that even is, or the gay b ball player either). What do you expect? It goes with the territory for us...

    Here is one

Personally, I think there is concerted effort to minimize 'war coverage' in the news.

Benghazi was a good example of that; they tried to minimize it and keep it down but it just kept growing and growing.

Ft Hood was another example that seemed to pass quickly in the news cycle.

But anything that can be used for an agenda, will live for weeks or even months...I still see reports about Newtown or relating to it.

It sounds like cargo shifted backwards as plane was climbing.

I know that tail number all too well. Plenty of intimate time spent loading it and unloading it in many different ports/many different countries.

Sad day for NAC and those that know them....

Now, if there was video of the crash, that's all you would see for the next day or two... or three...

News isnt news, news is money. It appears seven crewmember died, no military personnel and it wasnt headed to CONUS. If I was Rupert Murdoch I too would be airing the same thing as to line my pockets with cold hard cash. I dont know why military people think they should be on tv all the time instead of Kim Kardashian. Thats just the way of the world we live in. If I want obscure news about OEF I just go down to the intel vault. Call ol' Rupert up and complain. Im sure he's all ears.
