That could be a problem since a lot of the alcohol and tobacco sales at the NEX are to retirees. The profits from those sales…non-appropriated funds…pay for the MWR stuff that the sailors in the top picture playing on. So I wonder if the current generation of sailors might be shooting future sailors in the preverbal foot because they’re not providing those non-appropriated funds. When the current generation of retirees dies off there won’t be a non-appropriated income to pay for those computers…or anything they want to do.
