    CCAF Transcripts

I guess I'll throw this question here. I'm transferring universities and had my CCAF transcript sent to the new school. I took a CLEP in 2003 and it's showing on my CCAF transcript but my school is asking for the CLEP score report also. It would be $55 to get it to my school (hopefully) before the deadline. I'm breathing fire now since I sent CCAF that CLEP score three times before I got out, over the course of about 5 years, and it STILL wasn't showing when I separated in 2013.

Question: Does the CCAF transcript show which CLEP was taken and the score for that CLEP? I'd call but the CCAF office is closed. I'm trying to figure out why a CLEP would show on the transcript but not include the score. Any responses would be much appreciated.

Honestly, I've never heard of anywhere that wanted a score from a CLEP when transferring. I just checked all of my records and can't find anything showing a single CLEP/DANTES score. It doesn't even show that the credits are related to a CLEP. Just shows the subject and the credit hours.

If you can't get ahold of CCAF you may be able to contact the education office and have them help you.

Its been a while for me, but I had to call a different number other than the CCAF line to get my CLEP credits transferred. I don't know the number, but if you are enrolling in a college, the enrollment officer should be able to tell you the number for the CLEP credits.

Just checked & Mine does not show the score or even the name of the CLEP taken either. It just says College level testing and the date under the heading "Transfer Credits Accepted". Looks like you're out $55 bucks.

When I transferred CLEP credit, the school didn't care about the scores, just how much credit I was awarded. Since CLEP credits don't feed GPA ... it seems odd that they would want it.

Concur with the above recommendation ... talk to the enrollment officer, they should be able to help sort it out, maybe also get the veteran's liaison involved.

Out of curiosity, what school is this?

    Not my experience.

When I was going for my bachelor's my school had a higher minimum score for the CLEP than the minimum passing score.

Don't recall the exact numbers but if the CLEP required a 65 to pass, my school required a 75 to give credit for it.

Sooo...the screwy thing, though....is once I sent the CLEP into CCAF and CCAF credited it, the school accepted the transfer credit from CCAF since it was part of a degree.
