Bos, When you're talking about Tyson, you really have to look at the man's whole body of work.

Now, Is Tyson is one of the greats? Definitely Yes. But, is he really the greatest of all time? I don't think so.

Under Cus D'Amato ,Tyson's work truly was something to behold. But, After Cus died, it went downhill.

So, yeah I'd put him in the Top 5. But, If Tyson would've stuck with Kevin Rooney (like Cus wanted), instead of going with that gangster Pimp Don King, we probably wouldn't even be having this conversation.

I'm sure Tyson would say the same.

This is the only bio I found that talks about what he did as a scientist before he became famous and moved over to the educator, fund raiser, and TV personality side of science.

There are other scientists that do more important work when it comes to discoveries and pushing the envelope of knowledge forward.

That doesn't diminish my high opinion of Neil Degrasse Tyson. I think the books he writes for the public, and the TV shows like Nova and Cosmos do a lot to educate people and make more funding for research available.

Ah, yes... the world according to Rainmaker: black man achieves success and is respected by many, it's only because he's black. Otherwise, black people are incapable of such things.

    Your words Rusty. not mine.

But, since you brought it up.... Do you think @BoS mutas would be throwing up polls, asking our opinion on this political hack, if he was white?

He put it up there as bait to see if you would make an ass out of yourself.

You took the bait and said something racist.

    No real shocker.
