    Iranian deal

So it looks like the Iranian deal is going to go through.

Who thinks this is good for the US and our allies, who thinks its bad?

    Garhkal,

The acceptance of this deal has not been accepted, as of yet:

Allreza Zarkani, one of the Iranian lawmakers noted that "Iran's National Security Council would also review the deal 'and if they think it is against our national interests, we will not have a deal." he said.

I'm really torn on this. During the Bush Administration we had a program called 'Olympic Games" that was used to successfully hack into Iran's Nuclear program and wreak havoc. Here is a link to a story about where Obama gree-lighted it's continuation even after parts of the code became public in 2010.

In the above piece it was estimated that we set back Iran's program 1.5-2 years. Now here we are almost 5 years later. Iran is pretending they aren't trying to develop Nuclear Weapons. If that really is the case why did we attack them as far back as 2008? The article already mentions that Iran has enough Uranium for about 5 weapons at this point.

So here we are. Iran probably already has all the enriched Uranium they need. We can't stop them on that front anymore. So the question is, can we stop them from weaponizing the Uranium. I think it is sort of a lost cause at this point. If Iran wants a Nuke they are surely going to get one at some point. I don't think we can stop them anymore. The question at this point is whether or not they are crazy enough to use said nuke knowing a response would come from anyone they targeted. Surely, they aren't dumb enough to think they can just launch a nuke at Israel and get away with it.

As far as we are concerned how does this affect our National Security. We are halfway across the world. They definitely don't have a missile that can reach us.

Dictator wannabe Obama "warned" Congress not to interfere with this deal. Everyone knows that the sole purpose of Congress is to support the President's policies, right? How dare them get in the way of this man's agenda!

Iran has been "months away" from getting a Nuke for the last 25 years...... Just ask the little boy who cried Wolfowitz

Is this like how Christians have been saying we are living in "the last days" for well over 200 years now? Maybe Iran is supposed to get the nukes and help fulfill the prophecy in Revelation. When the 4th Seal breaks in Revelation 6:7 it kills one fourth of the world's population. Iran getting a nuke is part of God's plan.

Well, Rainmaker don't believe in Preordainment. But, yes this Sounds reasonable and vaguely Biblical.....

Reading this site is a constant reminder that the forces of darkness are excelling in manipulating the feeble minds of the morally weakend masses.

Shalom, As-salamu alaykum, and please give my regards to your pentecostal pastor at tomorrow night's Bible study. Nomsayin?

I think they ARE fanatical enough, but IMO the bigger concern is not whether THEY will use it, but whether they will 'lose it' to AQAP, ISIS or one of those other terror groups.

This will bite us in the ass in the end. But we deserve what we get...we have such a craven, feckless, and worthless political class in charge.
The state tends to expand in proportion to its means of existence and to live beyond its means, and these are, in the last analysis, nothing but the substance of the people. Woe to the people that cannot limit the sphere of action of the state! Freedom, private enterprise, wealth, happiness, independence, personal dignity, all vanish. - Frederic Bastiat
