Well, history has shown that the best way to combat gun violence is to post a "No Guns Allowed" sign.

The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. This has been the mantra of the NRA after every mass shooting. Just the other day I saw some NRA guys talking about how churches being a gun free zone is what caused the Charleston shooting.

If only one of the nine victims had been carrying a weapon this disaster could have been averted. Look at this picture of the victims

If only one of those sweet little old ladies would have been carrying a weapon. She could have pulled it put of her purse and shot that little punk.

Yes, She could have. And I've often wondered why more law-abiding blacks won't exercise their 2nd amendment rights. With the super high rates of black on black crime and supposed police profiling, you'd think they want to.

meanwhile in other news that the Kenyan in Chief hasn't mentioned....http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/mar...511-story.html .

See, The thousands of killings every year just aren't newsworthy because it doesn't fit the MSM narrative of crazy white males with confederate battle flags killing blacks for no good reason at all. This has to be harped on constantly (24-7 for months on end) so that aging self hating hippies (that didn't have the balls to go to Vietnam) can keep being 'down with the struggle' against Jim Crow and point out that every once in a while white people sometimes commit violent crime too.

But, back to the point.... What caused the shooting was The kid was a nut. From what I understand he shot them with a .45 and submitted to a background check. So, he legally had the firearm, It would be no different than a guy getting a driver's license, buying a car and then riding down the sidewalk running people over.

Gun control laws won't work in the US. So, unless you're prepared to ban all private ownership of firearms, which ain't happening (yet) and turn the country into even more of a police state than it already is, it's a moot point.

This isn't Europe. If you took all the guns out of private hands in America, you'd have gangs of thugs roaming around committing acts of violence cart blanche.

I doubt the "backlash" they are getting from a few nut-bag sites scares Uber much.

So someone who disagrees with Uber must be a nutbag?

One of the female victims is a former co-worker of my wife. She wasn't a "little old lady," but perhaps she could have had a chance at survival if she was armed. If it was one of your relatives, then I'm sure you'd feel the same.

Kinda like the huffopost, dailly beast, salon, and the daily kos....
The state tends to expand in proportion to its means of existence and to live beyond its means, and these are, in the last analysis, nothing but the substance of the people. Woe to the people that cannot limit the sphere of action of the state! Freedom, private enterprise, wealth, happiness, independence, personal dignity, all vanish. - Frederic Bastiat

If you owned a taxi company, would you invite your employees and customers to bring guns into your cars?

Remember, if a shooting occurs and you have advertised that guns are welcome you might get sued in a civil action.

Why should you care that a private business adopts a no gun policy?
All behold that fancy strutting peacock, the bake sale diva...
