Technomage - It seems you've searched out medical help, so I kind of feel silly saying this because I would assume you have already considered this, but what about being dehydrated? Even if you drink water throughout the day, if you also drink caffeinated drinks this could be the culprit. I had this problem once in a very dry hot climate. I was drinking tons of water, but also too much soda, so the caffeine and climate really dehydrated me faster than I expected and I would get bad headaches.

I had this very same problem. I stoped drinking pop and drank more water and it helped out a lot.

I have considered dehydration but I don't believe that's it. I drink a ton of water. Plus I've had dehydration headaches before and thus feels different.

How has your blood pressure looked when you gone to see the doc? High blood pressure can cause headaches and physical activity can exacerbate it.

Now, why didn't I think of that. Seriously, though, these are curl up in bed cradling your head headaches. Not something you can tough out. When your body hurts like that it's telling you something is wrong. I've learned over the years to listen.
