I know what you mean, I can hear the waves from the Atlantic when I'm sitting on my porch. It's terrible

No fair......I can't even go to Patrick under my career field out I'd love MacDill too. I would pay for my move, give away a stripe and live with AB pay for a year just to PCS down there and be left alone. :happy

Not very many people leave. As I hear it, there are finger-drag marks on the MPF floor from those that got orders to leave and were drug away.

I spent a lot of my youth at nearby Melbourne and Sebastian Inlet, shooting the pier, and a couple of years in Daytona Beach prior to the miltary. I'm a Gulf Coast native but I'd settle there in a minute.

You forgot that if Minot is known as a career killer for Senior Officers. Come to Minot, get fired. I think the count is now over a dozen fired commanders since 2007.

Actually it appears 5BW had one of the worst performances of the competition. Only two low level awards (Best nuke load and Best SF Tactics), no major awards (Fairchild, Mitchell, etc..) and the "Spirit Bell" (aka... feel good award because you didn't win anything else award). The Missile Wing did much better.
