While on the surface this sounds appealing (far too few Airmen of all ranks truly understand/appreciate the in-kind benefits), is anyone foolish enough to believe the DoD would pay $100% to $100% for the in-kind benefits? And, after the fact how many Airmen will be complaining over the increased costs or total elimination of in-kind benefits.
It's past time for supervisors to do what is mandated and brief/review the benefits fact sheet with your Airmen during feedback sessions.

This is a slippery slope and the reform commission is leading Airmen to the edge of the cliff.
