I am dumbfounded how even in the leftist state that CA is, something like this was allowed to happen.

http://clashdaily.com/2015/01/take-hijab-shove-taxpayer-funded-school-celebrates-hijab-day/

Some things i would love to know.
IF this school administrator is sooooo wanting to promote Tolerance and truth, why not also have a Jewish Yarmulke day, or an Amish Mennonite day.

Why is it the Atheists at that school (or in the surrounding community) are not up in arms clamboring for "Freedom of church and state"?

Don't have an issue with it, since it's not coercive. Do or do not. It's not asking anyone to do anything religious. Read a non-right wing source for some perspective.

I don't know if everyone will agree that this is as "pro-Muslim" as you think it is. I can almost bet that some Muslims will see this as offensive and as a mockery. I remember when we made a port visit to Oman, we were told not to wear any Muslim garb there if we weren't Muslim, as it could get us arrested.

One must always consult "The Most Trusted Name in News...Oi vey", to get the Official Narrative: because, you can't get objective news anywhere else.

Yes, We need Cornelius Vanderbilt's Great Great Grandson Anderson Cooper or AIPAC Lobbyist Wolf Blitzer to tell us what the truth is...

My big issue with the whole thing though, is why they allow this with Muslims, but not other religions?

And I'm sure the reason given would that displays of other religious items are considered state sponsorship of said religion, while this is nothing more than promoting "tolerance". Liberal hypocrisy at its best.

Okay, but what if they had a "Yarmulke Day," with no precedent set by a "Hijab Day?" Do you think Jews would take this as "promoting tolerance?"

Of course not. I agree that Muslims probably don't look too kindly on the day. It could easily be seen as offensive...not that I care either way. They can have whatever day they want, as long as they allow it for everyone. If someone gets offended, screw 'em.

My point exactly. We keep seeing instances where any aspect of Christianity seems to be pulled cause of lawsuits over "separation of church and state", but then they allow this for Islam. Its imo a double standard.

Speaking of the Main Stream Media and
Barely sneaking in for January's WPOSA (Worthless Piece Of Shit Award) is...Brian Willams.

WASHINGTON — NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams admitted Wednesday he was not aboard a helicopter hit and forced down by RPG fire during the invasion of Iraq in 2003, a false claim that has been repeated by the network for years.

Williams repeated the claim Friday during NBC’s coverage of a public tribute at a New York Rangers hockey game for a retired soldier that had provided ground security for the grounded helicopters, a game to which Williams accompanied him. In an interview with Stars and Stripes, he said he had misremembered the events and was sorry."

Misremembered, as in he lied his ass off for over ten years, such an honest "journalist".

"The admission came after crew members on the 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook that was hit by two rockets and small arms fire told Stars and Stripes that the NBC anchor was nowhere near that aircraft or two other Chinooks flying in the formation that took fire. Williams arrived in the area about an hour later on another helicopter after the other three had made an emergency landing, the crew members said."

I'm sure that if there was a such thing is "Christian garb," equal to yarmulkes and hijabs, you'd have a legitimate gripe. But, there's not...

Maybe Christians can adopt magic underwear, since Mormons are already wearing it?

Hey give the man a break. He simply forgot he wasn't actually involved in a helicoptor crash. It could happen to anyone. My memory isn't as good as it used to be. The other day I was telling a friend about that time I threw the game winning touchdown pass to beat the Cowboys. It seems no one believes this story and the truth is maybe I was simply at the game watching and I am misremembering the details.

Makes Rainmaker think Brian musta got cross-threaded with the owners since, it looks as if his zionist handlers (google Roberts family Comcast) are hanging him out to twist in the wind & dry.

so what's the over/under on this POS socialist court jester resigning or getting shit-canned??
