Honestly I don't even pay attention to which subforum I'm in. And, if I post a new thread, it almost always goes in the "In the News" or "In other news" sub...other than that I have no idea where I would post.

Hobbies, Crafts, and S&M

Hobby Lobby in your town may be a bit different than the one here.

The number of subforums on any website should be directly related to the posting activity, and the frequency of posts here barely justifies any more than a single catch-all. It makes it harder to browse when you hop from dead forum to dead forum looking at topics that haven't had replies in weeks.

NO! We **NEED** even more subforums. There should be an average of 154 subforums for every visitor to this site. Of those, each subforum should have at least 2814 locked threads, and twice that in moved threads.

Mods - snap snap...make it happen now. Increase your internet power with MORE SUBFORUMS! Your e-peen will grow and chicks will dig you.

How about thinking about my sarcasm and looking around here and realizing you have too many stupid subforums and doing something about it instead? Dur!

There are a couple that are very rarely used &/or fit a very specific niche, agreed.

Keeping in mind that MILITARY TIMES is a joint service forum, which would you delete or merge?

Keep questions about forum, off duty, and the individual service subforums. If it isn't about the specific service (regs, policies, assignments, etc) then it goes into off duty.

Nothing else needed. Easy to manage, easy to follow, and there SHOULD be very little confusion on where to post.

I would think two forums would suffice: "Military" and "Off-topic."
