Take a look at this supposed Marine in the picture (although it is a bit fuzzy) and rattle off all the things you see wrong. Dude is getting exposed on a national level now that Deangelo Williams thought he was doing a solid for a military member.

...and apparently he has already been exposed.

Pretty obvious poser, but I do wonder about him wearing Dress Blue "Alphas" ... mounted medals are not cheap and they look to have been professionally done (overlapped correctly and in the correct order.)

My questions would be why is he wearing his cover indoors, and why is he wearing medals and not ribbons? Not sure about USMC regs, but AF doesn't wear "hats" indoors, and medals are for the mess dress uniform. Regular class A-type uniforms has ribbons.

-Not supposed to wear a cover indoors unless under arms.
-Medals in that uniform is allowed (Dress Blue "A"), but not on leave or liberty (airport). Dress Blue "B" would be that uniform with ribbons and is an authorized liberty uniform.
-The Marine mess dress/evening dress would have miniature medals.
-The "Class A" type uniform would be the Service "A" uniform (green coat, khaki shirt and tie)

The reason the guy looks like a football bat is he was not an actual Marine, just wearing the uniform and got a free upgrade out of it.

I'm gonna go with the conspiracy theory. Williams paid for this guys uniform in order to get some good PR for giving up his seat...
