Not normally something you'd see - a Communications Squadron Commander jammed up and fired. Except maybe at a Nuke base. Croughton is out in the middle of nowhere as well... Perhaps these guys were just "Too far away from the flagpole". But then again - They aren't under investigation... Yet.

My guess...poor results on PT tests, not enough sold at the wing bake sale, and not enough tickets sold to the base LGBT show. The trifecta of career-killers for today's AF unit commanders.

Who knows what these guys did but I am thinking it was probably for some kind of IG complaint. Possibly for discrimination or unfair treatment. They could have maybe had affairs with other women and tried to cover them up or maybe there was some type of fraud waste and abuse complaint involving thousands...if not millions...of dollars. Who really knows? Maybe they were abusing their power?

But with that said...you buttclowns should not be speculating. It's wrong and you all need to stfu about it.

Or they actually tried to exercise some sort of actual leadership and common sense in their respective positions. That's another career-killer now.

Yep, my guess is this is a first shot across the bow for the new push on "maintaining a healthy organizational climate." These guys were probably just hard-asses.

Yeah...I recently had a CC fired for that. He lost it on a premadonna civilian and he was gone. They are pretty much tying CC's hands these days.

health, welfare and climate ... but no criminal charges (assume this is true and no spin)... so we can rule out affairs, computer porn, and the like. So what does that leave, rumors, IG compalint, failed inspections?

Yelling and screaming in staff meetings...

Health, welfare and climate. That sentence does not include the words, "mission, or "effectiveness".

I've got a pretty good feeling they got the climate assesments back and they weren't too positive. I've seen CC's removed for this before.
