Did anyone read this interview with General Hostage?

I think he gave some frank answers to the choices he is facing on cuts to weapon systems, and put some much deserved heat on Congress.

I had the pleasure of sitting in on a couple of staff meetings with General Hostage back when he was a one star. I was impressed with him back then, and he seems to be the same no-nonsense guy today.

Yep. Mention of his name brings to mind all the stories of straight up talk I've heard. This is the kind of leadership we need.

I thought the exact same thing when I read that interview in the AFTs this week. It was refreshing to read a leader not spew the normal party line answers to the questions. You could sense his frustration with elected leaders. His replies were gutsy.
