Apparently 8 high ranking members of the 20th FW at Shaw AFB were reprimanded for Sexual misconduct. Only hearing it through the grapevine. Can anyone confirm this?

google doesn't come up with anything related. maybe if we give it a couple days something will hit the web.

Though if they were run of the mill LORs, I'm not sure anything will show up.

Hey who knows...if tomorrow is as slow of a news day as today was the media is going to be all over this. Yesterday CNN was airing 10 min segments throughout the day highlighting all the past AF screw ups in nuclear and sexual assault, the underlying theme was "Air Force officers suck". It really made me feel like we are the laughing stock of the US military.... Oh wait!!!....

The Sumter County Air Force has been a little less than fully mission focused? Wing or NAF? If NAF, will they blame AFCENT Fwd?

It would seem that TSgt Smith was telling the truth after all. I recall some very unkind things being said at the time.

I remember that too. They tried to run her out of town as I recall. Same old blaming the victim mentality that seems to permeate anything to do with sexual assualt or misconduct.

From the article, not in order:

the air force was able to substantiate 14 allegations
8 officers recieved reprimands
2 colonels, 2 LtCol, and a Cpt recieved LOC or LOA, 2 LtCol were reassigned, 1 LtCol cited in the report retired.

8 officers, across operations levels... that's not an "isolated incident" or "false accusation"... that's a culture. No wonder Big Blue went a little overboard with the SARC training and inspections.
