Sleazy socialite saga just won’t go away. US taxpayers paying more bills for the dishonorable frolics of senior military officers running lustfully amok on company time and dime.

Next venture will be for profitable movie and book deal royalty rights. :wof

Any general officer ever disciplined or held to really account for Jill’s unescorted free access to “socialize” on MacDill AFB or in CENTCOM HQ? :buttkick:

I recall the commanding officer of the parachute team which this woman was granted the opportunity to jump with telling the person who "organized" it, "Do not ever bring that woman around here again." She sure sounds like a nasty little vampire leech.

This reveals a lot about the legal system, about military groupies and about shamelessness. In spite of its sleaze, it's a great read, as good as any work of fiction.

I would be a lot more impressed with her "respect for and efforts to support the military community" if the majority of events she organized were events, BBQs and parties for junior servicemembers vice senior officers.

Her husband is a MD, goes to show that intelligence doesn't equate to common sense, or emotional maturity.

This is a great point. Did we ever see anything in the reporting that showed support for junior service members? I don't think so.

No. Instead she did things such as this:

Kelley and her husband, Scott, a surgeon, were known for throwing lavish parties for members of the military in Tampa.

Unless a person held the rank of general or admiral, they weren't likely on the guest list, according to one retired senior officer who didn't want his name published.

"A colonel is about as low as (Kelley would) go," said the officer, who served at CENTCOM in Tampa and knows the players in the Petraeus scandal.

In other words, she's a high class slut. She and her hubby chased after dollar signs, not real work.

I think it's more about recognition and ego than about money. It's the groupie thing. I don't think money was much of an issue after she got hers the old-fashioned way: she married it.
