This is very bad news in the "big" picture of conflict in the middle east.

Smell of chlorine but no symptoms of mustard gas. Wasn't nerve gas (way too few dead). Conventional warhead hit a cylinder storage area? Someone's trying to go Ypres 1915 and doesn't quite have it right?

It has already been well established that Iraq sent the remaining chemical weapons to Syria before we invaded. My unit did find chemical weapons over in Iraq, just not in the amount that we thought would be there.
