Well, no doubt I'll get flamed for it but I want to wish you success. And confidence is a good thing.

Welp! Got my test date on 17 Dec. I was taking a class at the time so I didn't start studying. I started after the new year and took some of my material on TDY with me. After the TDY was pretty hectic at work. Long hours and working weekends so I didn't get the quality study time I would have liked. However, I managed to get some short sessions in at work during lulls and an hour or so after work when I wasn't too tired. I took 2 days of leave last week and had the weekend and yesterday off and I think all the time I had to prep paid off.

I felt REALLY confident coming out of the PFE. Like the best I've ever done. I feel a lot better about the SKT this year than I did last year.

According to the WAPS calculator, I need to get above 70 on each. That is only about a 6 point increase from last year's scores. I think I did it. Just need a little help from the cutoffs.

Thanks for all the well wishes and good luck to you all about to test. Hope we all receive good news come May.

To both of you lads, high winds to your back.

Don't be surprised if they try to charge you for the test materials and admin's time. :) .

Anybody else seen the stats for 13E7? They usually are out by now. I've seen stats on another forum but I'm scared to accept they are real (although I had a gut feeling about it). If they are true, this would be the lowest promotion percentage to MSgt since WAPS went to once a year all the way back in 1977. And even in that year it was still slightly higher.

I know, I wish I could remember what I scored when I made TSgt. I'm fairly certain I scored in the upper 60's lower 70's, but I really cannot remember.

If you got that on your PT test you wouldn't even be eligible for promotion :second

I've honestly never looked at it from that standpoint. I feel like a dummy when I don't test well and I spend more time studying next go around. I'm not going to be too upset though. I really put forth effort toward studying and if I don't make it my first time I won't be too disappointed. Now if I bomb the test I'll be pissed at myself because I didn't study te right material or I'm just dumb.

18.71%%?? Man, this will be the first time in ages I won't be able to break out the "Grumpy Old Man". I think it was 20% when I made it in 97. That tells me TSgt is gonna be a big ole angry bear again.

And Staff Sergeant will remain a princess.

Show up, sign your name, and don't choose "B" more than three times in a row. Promoted first-time.

Unless you had a supervisor that rated you accordingly. Then I took a bit more.
