It's about 1625 Eastern time, Happy New Year to all the folks who have already saw 2013 arrive. Osan and Kunsan have been passed out for a while as have Anderson, Yakota, Misawa, Kadena (oh wait, can you drink in Japan now?). Manas had their 2 beers a little while ago. The Stan is a crazy EST (Eastern Standard Time, Bob) + 9.5 so it's 2013 there. Al Dhafra, the Deid and Ali Al Salem are in 2013 already. Germany should be several biers into the evening, 35 minutes to go.
Happy New Year forum dwellers!

Happy New Year all.

It's time for my annual New Year's resolution to stay away from the MT Forum! I've spent way too much time on here and all I have to show for it is two Robert F. Dorr books. They are nice though! (Misson to Berlin is quite a nice read!)

I'm sure I'll stagger back in here shortly with my tail between my legs...back on the crackpipe, and you'll know rehab has failed once again.

Here's to a great 2013 to all! Cheers!

Happy new year, I guess.

I don't understand the excitement or the celebratory nature of happy new year, but I don't disagree, either. Dick Clark's happy new year, fire works, etc. I dunno; maybe it's a celebration that we who can party have simply survived for another year.

Pretty late there, or is Kuwait still celebrating Blutarsky's departure??:biggrin

WTF am I being moderated for?

I guess wishing everyone a Happy New Year could be a problem ... for no one

You are out of control RS, "wishing" everyone a Happy New Year. What's next? Throwing pennies into the fountain at the mall??:biggrin

I'm glad to have survived 2012. Absent certain surgery, I might not have been here to see 2013 in.

That means you have two-thirds of the World War II books by me that are currently in print, the missing one apparently being "MISSION TO TOKYO." I'll be talking about that one on the radio about an hour from now.

There is a rehab center for those who want to become recovering Forum users but it's located at the SECRET REBEL BASE and I don't know where that is because it's a secret. Tell me the cure or pass me the pipe.
