Silly picture.

People get injured. People get put on a profile to limit their duty lest they injure themselves further during the healing/rehabilitation process. People heal and come back 100%. Some few people milk the system. It is a shame the Air Force cannot have a corps of Terminators such as yourself.

I am an American Airman
I am a technical specialist,
I enlisted voluntarily.

My mission is to enable
aircraft to fly, fight, and win.
I am faithful to the weekly change to our heritage,
A Tradition of Variance,
And a Legacy of Resilience Training.

Guardian of Freedom and Justice,
My Nation’s air defense component,
Its Aerial Sentry.
I would defend my Country with my Life
but probably won't have to.

Wingman, Leader, Technician.
Those that are not REMF will
never leave an Airman behind.
I will never falter without a good
excuse to show why it wasn't my fault,
And I will not fail until they cut manning again
and the last Airman in my shop is in Tops In Blue.

What's sad is that profile-shaming actually prevents many people who need medical attention from seeking it.

If 99 people use the profile system as it is intended and 1 person uses it to malinger/skate out of work/dodge deployments, then 100 people are seen as malingerers/skaters/deployment dodgers.

I remember when I was still in recruit training at RTC Great Lakes. I got a 105 fever, and was taken to medical. As soon as I got there, young HNs and HM3's were talking to me like I was trying to get out of something.

Fast forward to now, my lower back and my wrists are fucked up; but there's nothing I can do about it now because there's no documentation of any of this in my medical records from when I was active duty. Why not? People really do convince you that if you go to medical for anything, that you're trying to get out of something. Even if the reasons are 100% legit and they know it.

At 105 degrees I usually have my Airmen go sweep out one of the unused hangars. Theres no air conditioning in them, but hell, the Airman is already sweaty anyways.

Did the radiation get to his balls before you were conceived?
