I had a feeling that if this was a serious thread...it would not last the original post.

Jill Metzger wasn't running away from kidnappers...it was Chuck Norris.

I really wasn't going for serious responses...I like them so far...
PME is so detached from reality, it's a joke...

On a side note...someone was asking me to craft up an NCO
creed to give to new SSgt selects. So I serached and searched
and only found the airman's creed. What the hell! Did the
fabricated Gen Moseley 2007 airman's crap replace the NCO creed?

Also, what's with the freakin angelic look and poses from Gen Swartz?
I would like someone who looks like a trained killer who can kick some ass!

Um, yeah. It replaced all creeds.

Um, yeah. It replaced all creeds.

Is it in the works to unreplace the creeds???

Just as they undid the good conduct medal decision, the bike test,
the circle insignia, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Just on a side note, my base got a new command chief who did something
new during the base quarterly promotion ceremony. First he decided it would
include all ranks, Amn, A1C, etc...So, becuase this increased the time, they
skipped the SSgt doing the NCO creed and had me skip doing my SNCO creed,
in order to speed the ceremony...

Um, yeah. It replaced all creeds.

I remember thinking how bad a decision that was too. I remember actually being proud to recite the NCO creed because I was actually going to be an NCO. Now I can recite the Airmans Creed but I don't feel like a warrior. My particular mission isn't to fly, I can fight if I have to and I do want to win. I don't see why an Airman can not be held to both the Airman's creed AND NCO creed (or SNCO Creed for that matter). There are three tiers to the Enlisted Force Structure afterall, thus three sets of recognized standards or levels.

but but but we cant have seperate identites for the difrent tiers. Or at least we need something to bind each teir together to build comradrie between the airmen ncos and sncos.

As you are saying, this seems to have flattened out the ranks sideways.
Do people forget this is a class system, seperate and unequal...
look at the payscale...officer and enlisted clubs, amn/snco/officer housing, etc

I think they were wrong. Wasn't Chuck enlisted SP? Not a officer?

Holy crap I need to start looking at the original date on these threads before reading them. I wonder what Ret was searching for in order to drudge this up. ALS? Chuck Norris? Post by Tak?

I was more troubled by the citation that Chuck served as a 'military officer'. He actually served as an enlisted Security Policeman.

Hey I should have checked the dates. But still they should have lost points for saying he was an officer
